The Christmas Barn is in Woodstock, CT a town of large area but somewhat small population.

We are a town easily found from almost all areas of New England.

Woodstock borders Massachuetts and is a short distance from Rhode Island.

To reach Rte. 169 and our shop from the Boston area take the Mass Pike to the Sturbridge exit follow 131 south to 169 then travel south on 169 for 9 miles, we're on the left.

From Auburn, Mass take 290 to 395 south, take exit 2 to Webster, go thru town and you'll be on Rte. 197 go west until the blinking light at rte. 197 and 169 about 6 miles into CT. At the blinking light follow rte. 169 south for 2 & 3/4 miles.

From Southern CT (Norwich, New London) take 395 North to exit 95  follow along the river to the second bridge then north on Woodstock Ave. to connect with Rte.171. In South Woodstock Rte. 171 and 169 join, go straight north on 169 for 2 & 1/2 miles, we're on the right, a little more than a mile north of "Roseland Cottage" (our Pink House)! A wonderful gothic cottage museum you may visit.

From Rhode Island you may follow Rte. 44 to the light on Providence Street go north until this road becomes Rte. 171 and continue north as the road becomes Rte. 169.  We're about 16 miles from the R.I. border.

Or you may enter Ct. from R.I. on either Rte. 6 or 101 then get on 395.

We must recommend the best Fall ride is to find Rte. 169, a little west of 395 and follow it north.  It's been named a scenic highway for good reason!
