The Christmas Barn closed for the season on December 31st.!

We'll reopen on July 5th. for our 45 season...

About the Barn!!

The 12 rooms of Farmhouse neccessities, Fall and Halloween delights and just about everything Christmas fill our big old (circa 1795) barn.

The Christmas Barn reopens July 5th. and will be opened until December 31st. Please revisit this site to get updates on Special Events and latest news or call 860.928.7652 or 860.928.9724.

Like every year The Barn will be a new adventure.  Who knows what we'll do this year...stay tuned!

I'll add to these pages as time passes.  I do hope you'll revisit to see what's up but also plan at least one trip to The Barn.   

I wish I had this typing and computer jazz down but hopefully I'll do better this year.  In another year or two the grandkids will be ready to take over this job. I HOPE!!

Now a little story about The Christmas Barn

Established in 1965 The Christmas Barn is located in Woodstock, CT a charming town in the northeast corner of Connecticut.  This area is often referred to as Ct.'s Quiet Corner.  The Barn is 14 miles southeast of Old Sturbridge Village and a short ride from most N.E. cities.

The Barn is housed in a true old barn with hand-hewn pegged beams and the history of 9 generations of family living in the homestead.

Our most often heard comments from newcomers is that we're bigger than we look and have lots of fun "stuff".  We invite you to come see for yourselves.

 In ' 08 everyone said "The Barn looked different "...now I have to decide what to redo for '09... maybe 99 surprises and a contest to find them!!!

We invite you to our website but realize it's not really a well done site, we do hope you'll learn that The Barn is worth the trip, we're a barn full of wonderful stuff, friendly folk and great displays ... do stop by.
